Relationship formed between a client who has managerial authority and/or responsibility in an organization and a coach who uses a wide variety of behavioural techniques and methods to help the client achieve a mutually identified set of goals to improve his or her professional performance and personal satisfaction and, consequently, to improve the effectiveness of the client’s organization within a formally defined coaching agreement. The focus clearly is and remains on what the individual can do to get the external outcome.
In life coaching, the aim is to erode the internal barriers you wish to overcome as those tend to prevent you from getting what you want. For instance, your lack of self-confidence is impeding your ability to speak in public, close sales, find the right partner (in life or professionally). Hence the focus is mainly on what the individual can BE in order to see the wished results, while the external manifestation of it serves as a reality check on the internal shift.
Mentoring it’s a relationship that is established between an expert and more experienced member of the mentee’s field. The mentor assesses and seek to understand the mentee’s needs, he then bestows the full benefit of their knowledge, connections, and wisdom by offering feedback, guidance and advice. We offer Mentoring services in the Leadership and Human Resources Management area.
Travelling, it is an almost universal passion that unites us all and seems to me to be the perfect metaphor for what we will do in our coaching sessions.
In each session you will define a specific goal for the session but also you will define a greater target of which you are heading towards through our sessions.
You will look to the current challenge, where you currently are, the context/environment, your current ways of thinking, current beliefs and all the efforts you’ve done so far.
To get from where you are to your target destiny you will explore all opportunities that exist.
In this phase, it is time to evaluate the cost and benefits of the different options and decide.
Now that the decision is made it is time to make it happen. You will develop na action list and define the structures you need to put in place to achieve what you want.
This last part is all about review and reflection. After all the hard work and effort, you’ve put in, these final questions enable you to highlight your insights and learning to yourself.
